Jennifer Holliday "Peace in our time"

Eddie Money fans might know this song LOL. He covered it (and changed a few lyrics) around the same time as the original.

Wonderful production, great lead and backing vocals, and some nice lyrics aswell. Infact, everything and everyone is great on the song LOL. Love how during and after the middle 8, the backing vocalist's come in much more prominantly (particually on the final verse). Just noticing this subtle difference is so refreshing to hear when compared to todays pop music, which often has little depth in production.

I also really like this line:-

"When glory has faded the dream is worth more than the prize". Yes it's relating to the olympics, but it could be applied to anything in life.

Written by Andy Hill and Pete "King Crimson" Sinfield. Pete Sinfield can write great pop lyrics sometimes and did so again with this song.

Burried on an obscure olympics album, its probably worth a listen for fans of 80's pop anthems LOL
