Taylor again ...I like her album but no. Kanye is really falling , Nicki I wanted you to rap instead of sing but get it I guess (still overrated), I like Diddy - Dirty Money album and Ciara just give up.

I'm actually glad veterans like Michael (posthumously) and R. Kelly can still pull in good sales. I heard a bit of Kells' album when it leaked on Facebook, it's decent.

It would be #1 if his family and everybody would just shut the hell up about it. Goin around tellin people it's fake, don't buy it, etc.

"Michael" first week sales in the following countries:

USA 225k (#3 debut)
UK 113k (#4 debut)
Japan 56k (#3 debut)
Germany 100k (#1 debut)

That's 500k from these 4 countries alone.

oh, it's the fake one! So is it still an "official" MJ album? Like, say, authorized by his estate or his record company? Or authenticated by those who worked with him?

Yea I mean what else would you call it? It's his unreleased material together on one album. It's not a greatest hits with stuff we know. Some may think the work is subpar but it's still HIM. Sony says it's authentic and I believe it. I don't know why Randy and the rest of them are trying to say it's not his vocals.

Jive might as well just drop her at this point. Having her around is a waste of time and money.

maybe they really just thought he didn't want it released or that is was not ready, so they are disowning it.

He's Michael Jackson. Unreleased material regardless of who likes it is bound to come out over the years. There's no sense in trying to stop it from my point of view.

I agree. I'm also surprised it's not #1 despite what his family says. If it's new MJ music I would think it would be a huge hit.

I don’t think people cared plus the promotion wasn’t good.

Clearly this time he did lol since it didn’t boom up sales wise. But it’s early plus the “fake tracks” weren’t helping.

Nah. I guess people weren't interested but the album seems to be doing well overseas.

I did not really hear about the album, aside from the one track that was maybe a fake.

I think if it was promoted better by Epic it would have done better. MJ may not need promotion in the same way as some, but people do at least need to know the album exists

The album not exceeding expectations , maybe here in America it won't be a huge seller but overseas it will be.

His album was promoted, though. He had a billboard in Time Square and adverts all over TV. + he passed away just last year so that's enough to get anyone's attention.

Dont be too surprised generally that happens this time of year when xmas cds really pick up steam and things like Taylor Swift and Susan Boyle etc... Kanye is not really the gift giving idea, hes more like the new joint you need and you get it or you dont, with Nikki i think she has more of the crossover appeal than Kanye does, thats why she is still up in the top 10. Nothing else is really surprising though, expect michael and r kelly to pretty much tank next week for the most part, and that Diddy cd despite that almost 90 thousand dont expect much more from it, label forecasts it for around 180-200 when its grace period ends.
