Sammy Davis Jr's 60th Birthday TV special

this is the first time I'm watching this in full smile

excited WE NEVER SEE SHOWS LIKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!! I'll have to watch this when I get home from work....never have seen in it's entirety before.

Talent like that is non-existent today RIP Sammy Davis Jr

taught I saw all his vids on youtube but this one biggrin never knew he had Ike and Tina on

He bought her a Jaguar(I think) when she performed with him in Vegas back in the early 70s.

I didn't really get into him until after he passed away. He was an extraordinary dancer

To be perfectly honest, I enjoy Sir Sammy Davis MOSTLY when he's mute boxed His pair of legs(and occasional fire) were his strength.

I've NEVER looked at him in the same light ever again after I watched this classic....

He was different in that movie than in everything else he did before or since, and to me, it proved that there was substance behind all that hollywood persona. He was the epitome of cool in that film.
