The White Girl Version of Erykah Badu?

Hey Guys,

I just came across this new artist by the name of Lylit!

She's full of soul, and I'm thinking she's the WHITE GIRL VERSION of Erykah Badu! What do you guys think?

Here's an introduction video: http://www.vimeo.com/14281151

I would really appreciate everyone's thoughts!

I checked out her official website. There I listened to the track titled "Opera", which is out of nowhere, catchy pop. I'm placing her on my indie artists to follow list. Thanks!

Do you know who Nujabes is? Her beats remind me so much of Nujabes' beats and he was probably the most soulful instrumentalist I've ever listened to (he unfortunately passed away early this year).

I really like "Opera" and her other song "Change".

I've never heard of Nujabes, but I heard his "Aruarian Dance" on YouTube today and found it exceptionally beautiful.

she's purty love. the song on her website is okay. the beat is real decent and her voice isn't bad (similar rasp to badu and kedar entertainment, the only things i see in common), but white girl soul singers tend to get on my nerves (i.e. another cutie joss stone). they almost always try too hard ...but we'll see about this one though cool.

(the dopest, imo) dancing jig

For all time I am with you, you are with me.

Uh no! Joss Stone maybe. Sorry, but like the other poster said, the only thing that this artist and Erykah have in common is a connection to Kedar Entertainment.

No one is touching Lady T.
