Ooh..Kem's INTIMACY or Maxwell's BLACKSUMMERS NIGHT..

Which is your fav? While both albums are FLAWLESS, for me it would have to be Kem's INTIMACY...

Damn, this is so not right. lol

I'll have to go with Maxwell's Blacksummers Night. I love Kem's Intimacy, but Maxi's album is a bit stronger in my eyes.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I actually didn't care for "Intimacy" like I hoped I would. It's, IMO, defintely the weakest of his 3 albums. I enjoy the middle section ("Share My Life" -> "Why Would You Stay") but the first three songs and the last three songs do little for me.

So "BLACKsummers'night" wins wink "Stop The World" is better than any of the songs on 'Intimacy'

...extraordinarily opinionated...wink

I thought I'd just shake this post up a lil' bit. Discussion is good!

I actually haven't listened to Intimacy in full since the first day I bought it, sadly. I just end up going back to Album II LOL.

"You Might Win" ("When I'm Loving You" has almost the same beat, sped up, but it's not as good to me) - "I Can't Stop Loving You" - "Set You Free" (which "Can You Feel It" seems like a longer, weaker version of)...I'm struggling to think of one song on Intimacy that's better than either of those 3. "Share My Life" is excellent, though!

nod I do too. "Intimacy" is just way too slow for me. I swear that man only has two upbeat songs. Love doesn't always have to be so slow all the time. I do love "Share My Life" and some others but the songs were way too short and I felt could had been longer.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I think thats the thing that got me..for as slow as the CD is..it never bores me..I love it..I have also notice that artists are putting out shorter legnth albums..Kem, Maxwell and Sade all had only ten songs on their CDs after making us wait YRS for new music...seriously?

Well not only the amount of songs, but the length of how long each of the songs are on KEM's new album is way too short. I think the longest one is at about 4 minutes. I know "You're On My Mind" and "Golden Days" both could've been at least 6 minutes or more long.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

The longest is, believe it or not, "Can You Feel It" at 6:07. "Human Touch" is 5:56. The other songs are all around 4 minutes - give or take. I agree on that many are too short. They barely get going before they end.

He should have cut down "Can You Feel It" and spread some time around. No reason that song should have been the longest on the album; it wears itself out halfway through. "Human Touch," on the other hand, makes me happy. That one can stay the way it is wink
