Marvin Gaye - "Distant Lover"(Demo Cira '71)

Hands down, my FAVE from Mr.Marvin Gaye....

And this is my first time hear its demo version,,,,,all I gotta say is SWEET LORD worship

You could feel Marvin's anguish through the tip of your fingers, and I still marvel at how emotionally he invested into his music,,,,sad to know that its a completely foreign concept nowadays.

When I first heard this on the 2001 Deluxe Edition of What's Going On, I was in awe. He was really on some deep stuff back in the 70's onwards and this demo cut proves it. Amazing how he improvises....
