Rockwell- "Obscene Phone Caller"

Remember this 80s jam? His second single, after "Somebody's Watching Me"

If Alexander Bell were alive today, would he want the telephone to be used this way?

The lyrics trip me out too. I think Rockwell had a voyeurism fetish--Someboady's Watching Me, Obscene Phone Caller, Peeping Tom...anybody else see the pattern there?

I always loved that song! It never really caught on, though.

It was just a concept album. I remember when it was released everyone was jammin to

this song the same way as Somebody's Watching Me.

Peeping Tom was on his second album. Maybe the voyeurism fetish continued to the next record?

Nope. can't say i do.

One hit wonder in the UK, because 'somebody' sang a few words.

If there was a dub version with that 'somebody' only, that'd be great. but alas, 12inch and instrumental only. Might have to work on that myself.
