Paul Weller is set to play two shows in the United States this November. The first is at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on November 3 and the second at the Nokia Theatre in New York on November 7.

Weller is riding high after his prestigious Mercury Prize nomination for his most recent album Wake Up the Nation. The Mercury Prize winners will be announced in London on September 7.

Weller recently recommended some new artists on his MySpace blog. The lucky recipients of the Weller seal of approval are Tap Tap, Tame Impala, Erland & the Carnival, Wild Beasts and Lauren Pritchard.

Erland & the Carnival will be supporting Weller at his New York show. The L.A. support will be Alessi’s Ark.
