Some sequels are just unnecessary lol the producers of 'Beat Street' wisely avoided making a sequel because they didn't need one.The first movie was enough.

The first 'Breakin' movie is down to earth and alot of fun,but the sequel is ridiculous, especially the absurd musical number that takes place in a hospital! lol with dancing nurses?! This movie is what killed the entire breakdancing culture.

Oh stop analyzing. The first Breakin' wasn't that believable either. lol Floating broomsticks, Kelly's ballet routine in the second battle, the audition...all campy stuff that we loved anyway.

Have you ever noticed Lucinda Dickey in Grease 2!? eek I just noticed her a couple of months ago.

I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

Breakin' 1 and 2 are okay movies. Alot of the movies about bboying are EXCEPTIONALLY corny lol and it's crazy because the whole bboy community can be really intense and fun. You can tell the people who make the films have limited knowledge about it lol

What do you think of 'Beat Street'? That one is my favorite.

Did you ever see 'Wild Style'?

speaking of 'Beat Street',the soundtrack is EXCELLENT.I think it puts the 'Breakin' soundtrack to shame. One of my favorite songs is "Beat Street Strut" by Juicy. The video is hilarious and fun...perfectly capturing the breakdancing phenomenon. This video takes you right back to 1984,lol.It's a shame that the song was barely heard in the film.

I'm sorry. I respect your opinion and all, but when you put Beat Street Strut up against these, it loses every time.

As good as those songs are,I think the best moments on the 'Beat Street' soundtrack can easily rival those tunes...

"Beat Street Breakdown" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five

"This Could Be The Night" by Cindy Mizelle

"Beat Street Strut" by Juicy

in addition,"I.O.U" by Freeze, which appears in the movie but regrettably not on the soundtrack,is the best tune from either soundtrack.

Anyone familiar with this 1985 film? How does it compare to the others?

LMAO!!! This movie was terrible Soul, it's the perfect example of Hollywood trying to cash in on a popular fad, this one failed.

"I.O.U." is good, but "Body Work" from "Breakin'" is better
