I really like their 1986 hit "Sexy" headbang That's one of their best songs.I think it was produced by George Clinton? Cool video too.I'd post it here but it seems to be missing from Youtube.

It seems that you think your point is the only one that counts when it comes to music or anything else for that matter. Why even comment on any of my threads? We will never see eye to eye on anything. You remind me of a ranting child. Theres a great way to get your ideas across, but you choose the juvenile style tactics in which you do so and it's always a turn off. And I aint giving you the names of didley.

It's the only one that counts to me. I comment because I can.

How negative of you to say we'll never see eye to eye. You were very mistaken in your assessment of Klymaxx. You were asking question that would have been offensive to any of the girls, or anyone with any sense to look up stuff.

Bernadette is a fierce drummer. Fenderella has had quite a career in songwriting and producing. Loretta "Lungs" Stewart can sing the phone book and you'd be a puddle. Lynn, in 15 minutes in the middle of the night, wrote their biggest hit, "I Miss You", while mourning a broken relationship.

Yeah, all hype. rolleyes Frankly, your thread to begin with was negative. Me schooling you isn't juvenile, it's fact.

Umm, yes it is. Why do you have such a big ass chip on yours soldier, guy? I mean seriously, you really need to re-read your ish before posting because the attitude that exudes from your comments is straight up rot.

...just saying.

Klymaxx's Meeting In The Ladies Room was an epic LP.

It was great from beginning to end. There were songs

on the album like Love Bandit, Video Kid, Lock and Key

and Just My Luck that were great but didn't get the attention

I Miss You, Meeting In the Ladies Room, and Men All Pause got.

Hell yeah, that shit was tight!

Their earlier 80's recordings on Solar stand out imo, including productional help of Leon Sylvers III, Jam & Lewis + Lakeside :

Also worth to check is Fenderella's debut-single from around 1980 on the TK-label, released before Klymaxx offically entered the biz :

Wow, I guess I'll be climaxing to Klymaxx by the time I finish listening to all of those songs. Thanks for posting.

Although I'm your biggest fan...I'm also your biggest critic. Can you deal with that?

Yup those early Klymaxx albums are good, especially that "Girls Will Be Girls" album, it's they're best album overall IMO. Plus the single "Multi Purpose Girls" from the unreleased 1983 album is a bangin' Jam & Lewis production, those Minneapolis horns are on fire on that one!

Yeah, from what i've understood is that some recordings during that unreleased album ("Girls In The Band") were eventually used for "Meeting In The Ladiesroom".

You can hear some "Men All Pause" in there, lol. I dig the semi-instrumental breakdown around 3:55 going till the end.

Oh yeah..."Lock And Key" is a JAM headbang That one should have been a single. Our local R&B station used to play it along with the singles.

Lock and Key was the 4th single but the album had already run it's course.

Yes my cousin had the 12 inch version and local radio played it for a short while

but like i said the album had already run it's course. I think the label wanted

to squeeze another single out following the success of I Miss You.

It would have been cool if the two bands had collaborated on a project together.Could you imagine Morris and Bernadette in a film together? lol

you read my mind!! I always thought that not only should they perform together, but wouldnt it be cool if they actually had mock battles on stage... Bernadette vs Morris, would have been classic!!lol
