Florence and the Machine... blimey!

What a wonderful album... just got it... love it! Could have done without the cover at the end... doesn't quite fit the rest of the tunes, but small complaint, really. What a fantastic piece of work.

That album really is IT. "Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up)" is captivating me right now. And I felt "You've Got the Love" was a nice way to end the album. Even as a bonus track.
iSnatch, iRead, iDrag. For Beysus and in general. Simple.

I just didn't think it fit. Didn't have the same 'heart' as the rest of the album. But, as I say, minor complaint. A glorious collection of songs.

They are playing here on July 29th. What are they like live? Worth seeing?

Romeoblu

someone got this as a christmas present and I really couldn't get into it.

I'm not saying it's a bad album but the album left me feeling cold.

It made me feel old.

A lovely sense of drama about the music... a bit like Fiona Apple, but with a beautiful British twist... a grown up Kate Nash? Kate Bush, in fact.

been into them since i first watched the vid for "dog days are over"
in, i think, november last year. great band.

i have to say that since i knew "dog days" for so long since the cd
dropped, i had very high expectations and the album didn't quite
meet all of them.

it's a hard album to digest, but it's worth it.

Love Florence! Shes the best female artist to come out in a very long time.

She makes Lady ga ga look like Britney Spears on crack.

I saw them live 18 months ago so my judgement probably doesn't reflect their current live show..... but I found them a little forced, like art school kids or drama students pretending to be rock stars. Maybe they're different now, I dunno confused

Thanks. Tickets are quiet expensive ($100 New Zealand dollars) so I ll probably pass. Still enjoying the album though. wink
