Glad to hear that Chris Tucker ended up accepting Michael's Apollo award tonight

instead of one of the brothers hogging the spotlight, or pushing Michael's kids out there.

Here is an article and a link to a video clip of a bit of Chris Tucker's speech. Funny as usual.

Gotta love Chris Tucker. He was so loyal to Michael. Always.

http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/Michael-Jackson-Honored-at-the-Apollo-Theater-96348269.html

I wish I could find some full video of his entire speech. Anyone know when/if it will air?

Stop bashing Joe Jackson! Leave this poor, victimized, misunderstood man alone.

lol

First, Joe did everything, possible and impossible, in order to put his hands in the O2 shows. He badgered/hounded/stalked his son incessantly. He threw tantrums over money in front of Michael's house. He used Katherine (since Joe knew full well that Michael always obeyed his beloved mother). He tried to break into Michael's house with everything he had. Then Joe forced him to sign a contract for some show in Texas. Finally, he sued Michael and tried to boycott TII.

Then...

As soon as Joe realized he wouldn't be making money off of TII and AEG directly, he came up with another strategy: sue AEG. After all his attempts he still couldn't worm his way to AEG's payroll. So, he, along with Rowe and Oxman, invented Michael was a junkie and, therefore, weak and unhealthy, implying AEG had an improper conduct. When Michael was alive they sold rumors about this to the press (as of early June, which is when they realized they would not be profiting from TII). Then MJ dies, and they cooked up this image for a year, in the media, so now they can sue AEG using the Disabilities Act argument. AND GET A BIG MONEY!

The moment Michael announced the TII shows, Joe and his pals smelled money and salivated for it. God knows what Michael was going through as of March with his father and his pals making his life a living hell in order to be in AEG's payroll. Then, Joe, Oxman and Rowe realized they would NOT be profiting from AEG and that's when they came up with this whole "Michael was an unhealty, weak junkie and we were trying to save him". They invented this argument hoping someone would take them seriously so they can sue AEG.

Bottom line is; they smelled money the moment MJ announced the shows and, one way or another, they wanted to profit from AEG. First, they wanted to be in AEG's payroll. Then, they realized this was impossible and came up with the MJ was a weak junkie argument, hoping to sue AEG and MAKE BIG BUCKS.

To the media, Joe, Oxman and Rowe claim all they wanted was to save Michael from the "meanies" of AEG. What really happened was that AEG was protecting MJ from these three who only wanted to make money off of him as soon as they heard the TII announcement.

But, hey (!)...let's pretend we all believe that Joe just wanted to save his beloved son (let's ignore he just wanted money) from a horrible and disguting addiction (totally made up by him and his pals hoping to sue AEG using this argument) and from the vultures from AEG (the only vultures in MJ's life as of 2009 were his own father, Oxman and Rowe).

It is f'd up. Joe wasn't even living with Katherine until Michael passed to the Angels in the Heavens.

If I were Katherine I would throw his ass out of the house. For goodness sakes the lady is close to 80.

Gladly standing corrected on the MJ game front. Seems like a full singing/dancing game on the way.

Jackson gets new life in video game

Michael Jackson

French video game titan Ubisoft is making a game that lets players "step into the shoes" of legendary King of Pop Michael Jackson.

Ubisoft chief executive Yves Guillemot unveiled the game Beat It - the title of one of Jackson's most famous songs - with the help of a high-energy dance team at a press conference in Los Angeles late on Monday (US time).

"I am very happy because we have signed a legend," Guillemot said of the deal with Jackson's estate.

The game will combine Jackson's music with his renowned dance moves, calling on players to learn and emulate the King of Pop's skills.

Players will also be able to sing along to Jackson songs including Billie Jean and Beat It and have their vocal performances rated by the game.

"Michael always pushed every limit when it came to technology to give his fans unforgettable entertainment experiences, whether it involved his videos, his recordings or his concerts," said John Branca, co-executor of Jackson's estate.

"Now, with this interactive product, we have the chance to bring Michael the artist into households around the world in a perfect match of Michael's artistry and the family entertainment which he always highly valued."

The title will be playable on most video game consoles and hand-held gaming devices.

A version being made for Kinect gesture-based controls for Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles will use cameras to put players virtually into the game with Jackson.

"This game is a natural extension of what he would be doing today to raise his artistry to even greater heights for his fans of all generations," said John McClain, co-executor of Jackson's estate.

"It is a game that the entire family can experience and enjoy together and this is something that would please Michael tremendously."

During his extraordinary career, Jackson sold an estimated 750 million records worldwide, released 13 number one US singles and became one of a handful of artists to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

His Thriller album is the world's bestselling album of all time with more than 110 million copies sold.

Jackson died suddenly on June 25, 2009.

SLASH WANTED MJ ON SOLO ALBUM

The Pulse of Radio reports that Slash apparently wanted the lateMichael Jackson to contribute a guest vocal on his solo album before the singer died of cardiac arrest last June, according to Ace Showbiz. The former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist played lead solos on a handful ofJackson's songs in the past and said he regrets not asking Jackson to return the favor before his death at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009.

Slash said, "When I was thinking about who I wanted to work with,Michael crossed my mind. I thought about doing something that would see him totally cross over into rock. But it was around this time last year and he was flat-out rehearsing for the London O2 gigs so in the back of my mind I thought, 'He's not going to have the time.'"

Slash told The Pulse of Radio that he refused to take part in the media frenzy surrounding Jackson's death and skipped seeing "This Is It", the concert rehearsal film rush-released afterwards. "He'd been sort of completely ostracized by the public and the people that, you know, used to work for him and all that because of all these issues that he had," he said. "And he had a really rough last nine years. And then all of a sudden when he passed away, it was like, 'Oh, Michael,' you know? So I didn't want to have anything to do with everybody capitalizing on his death, so I didn't go see the movie and I'm sure he probably wouldn't have wanted them to make a movie out of rehearsal anyway."

How long will it be before Jermaine tries to "top" Randy's supposed heart attack?

MOL, from day one I was saying Joseph killed this man too. People seem to have amnesia and forgot that he was trying to sue him before his death, and if Murray didn't kill him from the drugs, Joe would have killed Michael from the stress eventually.

I hope Randy feels better soon, but I hope I don't hear anything twisted from TMZ like Murray being involved, the story just gets crazier each day though I still miss him so much sad

Has this been posted:

When Michael Jackson died last June, he was survived by three children -- Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and Blanket, 8 -- and an estate worth $300 million dollars. Now details of Jackson's will have been leaked to the press, revealing that his children were awarded 40% of his estate: $33 million each.

But don't expect the Jackson kids to be partying with Miley Cyrus just yet. According to the terms of the Jackson Family Trust, the children will receive a monthly allowance until they reach age 30, at which point each is entitled to a third of his or her share. The remaining portions of the trust fund will be given to them at ages 35 and 40. And, here's the catch: by the time the children reach that age, the inheritance will be substantially bigger. Not only will the existing funds gather interest, but when Michael's 80-year-old mother Katherine dies, the children -- who are under her care -- will inherit her share (around $99 million).

Perhaps surprisingly, Jackson donated the remaining 20% to charity and didn't include anyone else in his will. Those who will inherit nothing include his ex-wife Debbie Rowe (the mother of his oldest children), his famous siblings, his extensive staff, his friends, and the children's secondary guardian Diana Ross. It does seem like the omission of his father Joe was deliberate; it may be the only revenge that Michael was ever able to take on his abusive, fame-hungry dad. But the children, his #1 priority, will be well cared for. And just as Michael took pains in life to maintain their privacy, he's taken pains in his will to be sure they're not overwhelmed by money at an early age, as he was. Even in death, Michael Jackson is assuring that the tragedy of his childhood isn't revisited on the next generation of Jacksons.

Why do you feel sorry for a man who abandoned his children and who is a wife and kid abuser? Why do you feel sorry for a sex addict who is an expert in extorting money from people (including family members)? I, for one, won't shed a tear if Randy goes to the grave tomorrow. Save that emoticon ( sad ) for the millions of good people who die everyday leaving their children parentless. Not for Randy. Unless, obviously, we have different values and visions of life. The saddest thing is that Joseph was sueing Michael for THIRTY MILLIONS. Besides, if the lawsuit had gone anywhere, the TII would have been boycotted. Worse: as soon as MJ was pronounced dead, Leonard Rowe sued him for...300 millions. Needless to say, Joe was behind everything.

However, It seems, though, that anyone, here, who says a bad thing towards Joseph is immediately labed an "hater" who doesn't know how to distinguish old school from abuse.

May this man, just like Randy BTW, die as soon as possible. God's forgiveness-meter for these guys is exploding.

Randy was once close to death after that car accident he had in, I think, 1980. People kept saying how it was a miracle he was even alive at all (and walking, albeit with some difficulty). I wouldn't wish death on no one. But somehow I won't be surprised if he did succumb. And near the anniversary of his elder brother's death. Weird.
