- will be featured in a live webcast concert from the Grammy Museum tonight at 10:30PM eastern time/7:30PM pacific time. KLOS is broadcasting it. Jeff Beck will be supported by his 2010 world touring band of Narada Michael Walden on drums; Rhonda Smith on bass (electric and stand-up) and Jason Rebello on keyboards http://955klos.com/Articl...id=1775808 -last night appeared on American Idol with singer Joss Stone. They performed his current single "I Put A Spell On You", which is moving up the AAA radio format radio airplay charts -His new album (EMOTION & COMMOTION) is enjoying great success - it will enter the BILLBOARD TOP 200 albums at #11 next week. This is Beck's highest debut ever in his 45 year career. The chart position of #11, will be his highest chart position since his platinum-selling BLOW BY BLOW album of 1975, whicj peaked at #4 on the BILLBOARD TOP 200 albums chart. Beck started the year 2010 off with a Grammy win for his cover of The Beatles' "A Day In The Life" (taken from the PERFORMING THIS WEEK...LIVE AT RONNIE SCOTT'S release). He also performed "How High The Moon" on the Grammy telecast as a tribute to the late Les Paul. Irish vocalist Imelda May (whom also appears on his new album), sang the Mary Ford vocal parts. In February his first-ever dvd PERFORMING THIS WEEK...LIVE AT RONNIE SCOTT'S was certified platinum by the RIAA. - Jeff Beck's EMOTION & COMMOTION WOLRD TOUR has alread played too many sold out dates in Seoul, Korea; Hong Kong; Australia, Japan, San Francisco and LA. The tour resumes this Saturday in Houston.
