NOT a "fanatic" of El's.....but....
Love his voice, the classic material & hope the best for him. "In The Storm" was a great funk album. Saw him live about a year ago & he sounded (not "ok".....not just "nice") but AWESOME.....as good as he was & better. Funk Is It's Own Reward | |

I watched "Unsung" and his wife had said that his drug abuse begun after being prescribed meds after a dental procedure. It's sad. I pray that he will be able to get his life back together. | |

Yeah, isn't that amazing? If I'm correct, El didn't smoke crack like Whitney. I know Chico didn't because he said he was hooked on prescription pills/heroin in an interview. Maybe that's why the brothers were able to hold onto their voices and still remain decent-looking. | |

Well he didn't look like that a few years ago. It shows how being off drugs can make U look better. He looks like his old self now when he was part of the group Debarge. I'm happy for him and wish him well. He has so much talent and his voice is classic......  will ALWAYS think of  like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. | |
