Singer weighed 136 pounds at death, had tattoos near brows, lips

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson's full autopsy report was released following the filing of involuntary manslaughter charges on Monday against the singer's personal doctor. Following are some notable or new highlights of the Los Angeles County Coroner's report into Jackson's June 25 death.

--Jackson died of "acute propofol intoxication" administered at a level equivalent to that used during anesthesia for "major surgery". A consultant anesthesiologist said there were "no reports of its use in insomnia relief."

--None of the recommended monitoring, precision dosing or resuscitation equipment was present in Jackson's room.

--Jackson had the skin pigmentation disorder vitiligo, with white patches particularly on his chest, abdomen, face and arms.

--The hair on Jackson's head was described initially by police as "sparse and connected to a wig." The autopsy revealed "frontal balding".

--A bandage was present on the tip of Jackson's nose.

--A closed bottle of urine was found on a chair in the bedroom where the singer died, along with a box of catheters, disposable needles, alcohol pads, several empty orange juice bottles, a string of wooden beads and a green oxygen tank.

--On Aug 6, a month before his burial, police went to the mortuary where his body was being held to collect hair samples for toxicology tests. The casket was described as yellow with a blue lining and Jackson was wearing a long, dark wig. "Moving the wig revealed short, dark, curly natural hair...measuring approximately one and a half inches in length."

--Jackson's body was covered with small scars on his nose, knee, shoulder, neck, wrists, and behind both ears.

--He had dark tattoos near both eyebrows and a small pink tattoo near his lips.

--His body weighed 136 pounds, was 69 inches long, and was described as "thin."

69 inches long? what a big baby!

69 inches mean he was 5'9.

I guess this is an autopsy report, but it seems we talk about how much a person weighed and how "long" they are when they're born, but not so much when they die, so it sounds kind of funny.

But actually, yeah I thought he was closer to 6'

MJ's height was slightly exaggerated. According to some it was 5'10, to others around 5'11.

Why did he have to use those?? Was something wrong with his bladder? Catheters usually indicate a urinary retention problem.

i was just about to say, since he was completely unconscious due to the propofol, the normal reflex for waking up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night if he needed to wouldn't have been working.

two things:

confirmation that he had a nose which was attached to his face.

and as i pointed out in the other thread: the autopsy pointed out the body parts where the vitiligo was evident. does that mean that his penis *didn't* show evidence of vitiligo, like he said in his interview with diane sawyer?

Oh yeah, that's right. I was thinking of him using it while awake for some reason. Wearing a catheter every night just to use that stupid propofol must have been awful. I just looked up how they are inserted, and it looks like a very painful process.

that damn doctor know he killed michael no matter what lie comes out of his trout he knows what he did was wrong and shouldnt have been done at all on a professional level.strange i keep having dreams where michael is tellin me that i will b the new king of pop

I skimmmed through it because it was very graphic. I was thinking is this the same Michael Jackson that did "ABC", "Don't Stop It" or "Thriller" that they were cutting up like a piece of meat!!

The graphic truth was different than what tabloids kept printing about what Michael was up to. Despite his larger than life reputation and his mysterious death, you HAVE to cut bodies up during autopsies. As tragic as it is. And yes it's the same Michael Jackson. -_-

the rolling stone interview claimed that mj had a prosthetic nose. i think if the bandage was holding the nose in place, they would have said 'he had a prosthetic nose held on by a bandage.' rather than just noting that it had a bandage on his nose. at least that's what i'm thinking.

I just read on page 12 of the report that he actually did experience urinary retention like I assumed, due to the enlargement of his prostate. So he must have been using that catheter when he was trying to fall asleep too. I think that problem, as well as his other issues, could have been fixed if he had lived and been with a good knowledgable doctor.

I was apprehensive at first, but reading the report so far is like reading a forensic pathology case study in a videogame or seminar somewhere, and the descriptions have not made me feel uneasy yet. It's real sad though, and I may not get through to page 51.

even if you go with the idea, that yes, mj asked him to do it, why didn't he ever stop to think about the repercussions to himself? sure, the money was good, but did he ever stop to think what would happen if mj died? where would he be? did he just think that no one would care? a lady who works in my office saw mj right before he passed away (her doctor is in the same building as klein) and she said that mj looked too frail to her to pull off the o2 shows. if patty saw it, did murray? if not, why not?

i'm just thinking out loud b/c i know i'll never have the answers to these questions, trial or no trial.

i got a letter today from my brother's girlfriend (who was he was living with). i don't believe what it said how my own brother died. she has a bad record herself

i got a phone call before and spoke with him one time but that was about it.

so i wasn't suprised
