I like it as well. When I listen to this song, I realize that this is a unfinished copy. I like the melodies and ideas in it. It just needs a good bit of polish for me.

I like it just the way it is,,,,sometimes a certain track lose its essence when you master it, I love this song's raw quality.

I like it musically. I would just like to be able to understand what is being sung. It's hell trying to sing a long lol

falloff falloff falloff

Whispering and mumbling aren't quite the same. I mean, we can hear D -- we just don't know what the hell he's saying half the time. lol Janet thinks she's making instrumentals.

This is grimy filthy funk...just the way I like it B-)
D's vox sit in a pocket like no other. He has a way of where if you focus on listening to the vox too much, they sound out time. But you sit back and listen to the whole track, he's just sittin a sweet jazzy spot in the shade with the harmonies and backround vocals perfectly in line.

Marvellous stuff, I hope there's much more to come!
Music, sweet music, I wish I could caress and...kiss, kiss...

it does remind me a bit too much of lauryn hill's "the final hour" beat

i keep wanting to sing along "you can keep the money, you can keep the
power, but keep your eyes on the final hour"

The music is fine. The vocals... seriously to my ears sounded like a 5 mins of-- wubba-wabba, wubba-wabba, blubba blubba blubba...

Take the dame cotton and ice cubes out of your freaking mouth and sing, OR get someone else to sing for you like Santana used to do.
Shit, D makes George Clinton after he's smoked five blunts sound as lucid and clear as if James Earl Jones is speaking. neutral

Is part of this problem the fact that this is a youtube clip and not clear audio? Maybe he's scatting? lol

Yeah a song this funky, lyrics are secondary (like it was on Sly Stone and P-Funk records, even some funky Marvin joints had indecipherable lyrics). lol

Some people are easily pleased. It's a mess. Drums are weak sounding.

The man is sooooo overrated.

It's supposed to be a mess and it's wrong to gauge the sound quality on a youtube clip.
