I love this entire outfit:

I think he looked really good in that baggy style during rehearsal.

Darn people are selling those exact Ed Hardy pants for $300-$500 dollars on eBay though. mad I'd pay up to $50 for a pair, but that's it, lol.

Everyone disses the Ed Hardy but I think it looked great on him mushy

Not that in the scheme of things does it matter, but I would love to see one scene in the expanded edition and that would be MJ doing the moonwalk.

Everyone said he couldn't at 50. I believed he could. There are glimpses of little ones in smooth criminal but I would love to see if they have one captured from the rehearsals.

MJ was in much better dance shape for This is it than he was for the 2001 MSG 30th annivesary and he did the moonwalk there. Im sure he could still do it with ease. It's not like it's a difficult dance move that requires a lot of energy. MJ does more dance moves for the They Dont Care about us choreography than a simple moonwalk. The same with Way You Make Me Feel.

And the new moves he put in the Billie Jean performance actually require more effort than a moonwalk which is pretty easy to do.

He didn't do the Moonwalk in This Is It because he didn't have on the proper shoes, plus the floor had a "grip" to it.

My point was MJ did more dance steps that required more energy in the movie than a moonwalk. The moonwalk is not a difficult dance. Its been around since 1980/1981 and is really outdated. It looks better when you can do it in cirlcles and at the same time start going sideways after the circle. Boogalooshrimp from the movie Breakin mastered that

That's odd, the move isn't that difficult and he was 50 not 80! lol

Exactly. Michael used to do what you described in the Victory and Bad tours. He should have done that in TII.

The guy in this video does it better than MJ. He just doesn't have hit music or a big stage in front of a big audience to showcase it.

MJ's looks good but not as smooth. It lt seems MJ was just learning it and it wasn't as smooth just yet. It still looks great though.

Here's another one. Boogalooshrimp at Venice Beach back in the day doing the moonwalk in cirlces in tennis shoes on cement. Imagine if he had some slippery shoes on on a stage.

Funny that you mention that cause when i was watching TII in the cinema and Billie Jean started I looked at the shoes and said - nope, not loafers, he isn't going to moonwalk in those, lol.

My point was the moonwalk was iconic with Billie Jean, and it would have been /would be nice to see a version from the rehearsals if it exists.

YEAH!

yeah i stand by it.

he may be gliding. but i go by illusion. there are many people who can mookwalk and glide. but very few get the art of illusion. floating on air. without human restrictive movement. the closest i sen him do it during the victory tour was the last concert during shake your body. im sure somebody will post that clip.

I think that was one of the smoothest moonwalks he's ever done.
