Could This Be The Start Of Beyonce's Down Fall ?

Beyonce sings for a Khadafy

Beyonce performed for an hour on New Year's Eve at a party thrown by terror-backing Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy's son, Hannibal, who has a long record of violence against women.

Beyoncé performed five songs in a sexy black leotard at the Nikki Beach club on St. Barts in front of a crowd that included her husband Jay-Z, Usher, Microsoft founder Paul Allen and Lindsay Lohan.

We couldn't confirm how much Beyoncé was paid for the gig, but last year, Mariah Carey reportedly pocketed $1 million for performing at Nikki Beach.

Some vacationers on the island were aghast. DJ Sam Young tweeted: "Jigga [Jay-Z], Beyonce & Usher were @ Nikki Beach performing for Khadafy family, WTF?"

Just a week earlier, on Christmas Day, Hannibal, 33 -- also known as Moutassim -- allegedly attacked his wife, Aline Skaf, in his suite at Claridge's in London. Three of his security staff were arrested for obstructing police. Skaf was reportedly hospitalized with a broken nose while Hannibal was whisked away in a diplomatic car.

In July 2008, he and his then-pregnant wife were arrested on charges of beating their servants in a Geneva hotel. They denied the charges, which were dropped after the servants received compensation.

Hannibal was also arrested in 2005 in a Paris hotel for allegedly punching Skaf. He then allegedly brandished a 9mm handgun and went on a furniture-smashing rampage in his hotel suite. No charges were brought.

A year earlier, he led a police chase on the Champs Elysees, reaching speeds of 90 mph in his Porsche. No charges were brought after Libyan diplomats apologized. And in 2001, he allegedly attacked three Italian policemen with a fire extinguisher, but demanded diplomatic immunity.

Reps for Beyoncé and Nikki Beach did not return calls and e-mails.

On Sunday, Mediaite reported that singer Beyoncé Knowles had given a private New Year’s Eve performance for an exclusive crowd in St. Barth — and made the case that she had performed and been paid by relatives of Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi (variously known as Khadafy, Qaddafi, Quadhafi and more). Atlanta-based blogger Necole Bitchie reported a $2 million fee; the UK Mirror reported a “six-figure sum” and yesterday Media Takeout made the same claim, repeating the $2 million number and confirming the Gaddafi-hosted party from a guest who was there (hip-hop impresario Russell Simmons also placed Beyoncé at a “Khadafy party.” Today Page Six confirms our original report, with one new piece of information: the party was thrown by Moutassim Gaddafi, known as Hannibal, son of the Libyan dictator who less than a week before made headlines for allegedly attacking his wife in a London hotel.

Page Six notes — as we did! — that Beyoncé’s sang five songs for a crowd that included her husband Jay-Z, Microsoft founder Paul Allen, Lindsay Lohan and Usher (who also did the New Year’s countdown); Jon Bon Jovi, Simmons, supermodels Miranda Kerr and Victoria Slivstedt and BET founder Bob Johnson. Page Six could not confirm the rumored $2 million sum cited elsewher, but did note (again as we did) Mariah Carey’s reported $1-million payday for the same gig last year.

Last year’s party, it should be noted, was thrown by Hannibal’s brother Saif Gaddafi, who this year was reportedly in New Zealand. Page Six has a lovely rundown of Hannibal’s seemingly frequent bouts of violence and reckless behavior. Odds are Beyoncé probably didn’t see his halo.

It should be noted that Jay-Z also reportedly joined Carey last year in performing for the Gaddafi party, and that there was no backlash for either of them (indeed, Carey went on 20 days later to sing for President Obama’s inauguration — as did Beyoncé). However, this year Gaddafi’s history of terrorism has come to the fore with the release of Lockerbie bomber Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrah, the Libyan convicted of setting the bomb that took down Pan Am 103. Gaddafi and Libya accepted responsibility for the bombing in 2004, and has paid millions of dollars in reparations to the victims’ families.

More information on the Gaddafi family and Beyoncé’s performance on New Year’s can be found here. Reps for Beyoncé and Nikki Beach did not respond to queries from Mediaite or Page Six.

She did a gig. Its just another gig. She's a performer. People are so stupid for letting the media stir them up over nothing. We are currently involved in TWO simultaneous wars. We as Americans have no place to talk about or judge ANYBODY right now. How many civilians have our soldiers killed? You don't know. Why? Because the news never talks of this. They are too busy distracting people with Kate and John type nonsense and "Beyonce does a gig for Khadafy". She's a performer. She's doing her job by providing entertainment. Only self-righteous pricks get pissy about a job someone else is doing. her job is to perform her music. She doesn't book gigs. She performs. Someone else books the gig. She shows up. That's how that works. Sheepole these days, I tell ya. rolleyes

Let think about it, if the British National Party (BNP) were offering the same amount of money OR better for Beyonce to do a gig, do you think she should do it regardless if someone else is booking her gigs?!?

People will use any thing Beyonce does and try to use it against her even if she didn't perform for whoever it was she performed for. Whether it's her videos {she's not artistic, i'm tired of her she needs to take a break}, interviews{she's not articulate enough, I'm tired of her she needs to take a break}, live performances {she lip syncs, I'm tired of her she needs to take a break}. Let's see how these same people who has jobs {if they do} react if people came up to them and told them constantly "why don't you take a break because you're all around this office and I'm tired of seeing you." It's ridiculous how people really put every fiber of their being into hating or not liking some, especially when you don't even know this person from a damn hole in the wall. Half of the people who talk trash about Beyonce would not say it to her face and you shouldn't because you would gain absolutely nothing out of trying to discourage someone from living their lives and doing what they love.

This is the same stupid nonsense that plagued Queen when it performed in South Africa back in the 80's, but then of course EVERYONE did it, and it was forgotten that Queen opened the doors

I know. I've seen her several times without it and she is more beautiful without it. Every person that wears stage makeup for a long period of time tends to get an acne breakout.
