Sad when people are so focused on someone's PERSONAL life that they can't enjoy the music they deliver. Moving on...

Remember that the next time Prince, MJ, Madonna, or Janet, or Rihanna, or Chris Brown, or whoever is brought up and people start calling them sluts, or whores, or has beens. Point being, people will ALWAYS talk about a person's personal life. The "sad when people ....." argument is an attempt at distraction from the facts. But then again, who can enjoy R. Kelly's music anyway? Oh wait...that's right. Those 110,000 fans who bought that miserable CD from that miserable artist who doesn't read yet is writing a book. LOL What is it Prince said about "Real music by real musicians" ??? Real books by real writers, pls!

If you say the CD is miserable, then that's your opinion. The real fans aren't complaining, only the negative people are. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

People call them has beens or sluts from their music or persona they evoke through their music nothing to do with their presonal life. What you're saying aren't facts. He can't read yet he's more talented than your fav AHAAA!!

"You [have to] believe it. You can't believe [anything] if you're hating. You can't achieve [anything] if you're hating." - R Kelly

R Kelly believed in himself and he achieved his goal so why try and make fun of his reading ability when he KNOWS he's not a good reader? People stating it like it's something new. He's living his dream while the haters are bitching. Stay mad.

Exactly! wink

I think it's inspirational that Rob came from an impoverished background living from project to project and performing under the Chicago train with Yamaha in hand for bystanders. Poor reading and grammar because he didn't have the opportunity to go to school like other kids when he was more worried about what he's going to eat the next day. Yet he remains optimistic about life and people. So fuck the haters biggrin

What does being poor 25 years ago have to do with being a grown ass man with money who can certainly learn to read now. Not that being poor has stopped loads of people from obtaining the free education that is avalible in the United States.

What did Smelly do to anyone here PERSONALLY that makes them turn a blind eye to the facts that LauraRichardson (my doppleganger, and lover in a parallel universe) stated, and defend him? He's a dick icon. From his first song to his last, he'll always sing about sticking his schlong in some nearly-illegal vag, and glorify it. It's all most R&B music is anyway, which has made it go downhill faster than .....well, nothing much before or after.

People who defend child molestors are usually on the same wavelength.

It's a fine line. No one has any real investment in R. Smelly. People might buy his records, but what the shit do they care about him otherwise? However, I'd think that "wave length" would be different if a child molester, even a one time offender, would be in someone's family. It'd be a different story, perhaps, for some.
