Sade's 2000 release, "Lovers Rock," sold 3,881,000 copies in the U.S. and the prior album, 1992's "Love Deluxe,"

Yes! Next to Prince, Sade is the only other artist that I simply love to death! I would buy Sade's Cds, albums, and tapes no matter what. She could be playing pots and pans and singing about "Purple Hearts and Green Clovers", I would still buy her stuff and play it without shame.

I can't wait until the album drops.

I hope this CD is good. Lover's rock was a real let down for me. I hope to hear some of Stewart Matthewman's sax in this one.

It has its moments, but I didn't really love it either.

Hope this new one is more organic and saxier!

I love Sade and I can't wait for this, but damn, this is only the 3rd album in 18 cot-damn years? And to think we Prince fans get antsy when he doesn't release an album every year. I'll be buying this for sure.

I like the 'Lover's rock' title track, 'King of Sorrow' was pretty good, and so was 'By your side'. It's really hard to find the 'By your side' remixes, there were a lot of them, the Neptunes did a remix for them.

My favs are by Ben Watts and Stewart Mathewman.

FYI: Someone above mentioned something about hoping the guys are going to be involved on this album...Sade is Sade Adu, Stewart Matthewman, Paul Spencer Denman and Andrew Hale.

Press Release: Sade Set to Release 'Soldier of Love' Worldwide on February 8th
November 24, 2009

The wait is now over. Epic Records is pleased to announce the release of 'Soldier of Love', the highly anticipated new body of work from Sade.

'Soldier of Love' -- which will be released worldwide on February 8, 2010 -- is Sade's first official studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000.

Known for their one of a kind timeless sound, Sade has enjoyed phenomenal success both internationally and stateside throughout the span of their twenty-five year career. Since the release of their debut album, Diamond Life in 1984, the band has seen all five of their studio albums land in the Top 10 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart selling a total of more than 50 million albums worldwide to date. They've been nominated for American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and have won three Grammy Awards -- first in 1986 for Best New Artist, then in 1994 for Best R&B Performance By A Duo Or Group for "No Ordinary Love", and again in 2002 for Best Pop Vocal Album with Lovers Rock.

The album was recorded in England and produced by the band and their longtime collaborator Mike Pela.

Oh yeah!!!!
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Just about yeah, because a-Ha came out with her and they were both nominated in the new artist category that year.

...so with the ruins of Teotihuacan in the background and the somewhat "Spanish" hairstyle...does this mean they're gonna have a Latin flavor to the new CD???
