Paul McCartney and Wings, Let Em In

Now this is a classic. I heard two black homeless guys singing this the other day..lol

This aint the Beatles, but I like it. That simple piano stuff in the song is amazing. The bass piano is nice. Prince is crazy when he says the Beatles didn't influence him. You can hear both Parade and Around The World in this song.

My friend Gale, who was 50 and got married last month, HATES this song. We always have a good laugh about it because she says the lyrics are so simplistic and repetitive, that she just can't stand it. But she knows the song, that's for sure. I've often called her voice mail and played this as a joke. She gets a laugh every time.

I've thought of making a mix CD for her and her new hubby. I'm totally putting this song on it, but I'm going to play like 4 measures, then have a record scratch, before going right into the next song. I'm sure I'll get a phone call once she hears it.

Identity

Catchy melody paired with some of the worst lyrics in pop.

Plus the chorus to "Let 'Em In" is sung on "Guess Who's Knockin'" from the Goldnigga album.
