So I was at HMV right, and they had The Wall on sale for once, and I told my uncle, like, "I looked on the back of the CD and there weren't no song titles on there, and I wasn't sure what was on it. So, what tunes are on it?"

My uncle goes "It's The Wall by Pink Floyd, you don't ask, you just buy it."

lol

I felt numb for real when I watched the movie to this... creepy but great stuff. The animated sequence was my favorite part of the movie.

Soul music, wake up, create more legends! RIP Teddy!

I feel the same way about "Darkside of the moon". As I told my younger brother, just play the damn thing....He nearly peed his pants, when he did.

I actually have yet to pick it up. It's just a turn of fate that I heard this song on the radio this morning on my alarm clock right after seeing the CD on sale, then talking to my uncle.

That whole album is a classic. Some of the finest symbology ever in the videos and the whole wall concept. I used the video from Goodbye Blue Sky to teach my kids about World Wars.
Pink Floyd are just a great band, who have always made mind boggling and really deep music. They are so different to everyone else before and after them.

I think Hey You is also worth mentioning from that album

Absolute classic and must have album this one. I also like the modern dance remixes of Comfortably Number and the Wall. It never dies this music. Pure genius. I cannot listen to the instrumental in Goodbye Blue sky without getting goose pumps. It's just so powerfully deep.
