This is a great song and the Remix has got to be one of the greatest remixes that Teddy has done, aside from of the 'Remember the time" remixes, that he had done for MJ.

This song is a shining example of everything that was RIGHT about late 80's/early 90's pop music.

An early 1990 single from an album released late 1989.

AMG says the album came out in 1989 though the single "Don't Want To Fall In Love" came out in early 1990 in the US.

Review by Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Jane Child's debut album was a pleasant excursion into synthesized dance-pop that was distinguished by the ingratiatingly catchy single, "Don't Wanna Fall in Love." A handful of other songs on the album — including the minor hit "Welcome to the Real World" — demonstrated Child's skills as a pop craftswoman, but just as many fell flat.

That shit was my JAM for a cool minute. I liked that chain she had too!

One bright day in the middle if the night,
2 dead boys got up to fight.
Back 2 back they faced each other,
drew their swords and shot each other
A deaf Policeman head this noise,
he came and shot the 2 dead boys.
If you don't believe this lie
