but he wasn't a one hit wonder. he actually had more than 7 or 8 top ten hits from his first album. I believe he was born in the UK, but actually lived in the USA during his teens, and started his music when he came back to the UK. the first album is actually quite good. Better than any shitty so called r&b these days. Plenty of excellent songs on there. he had a second EP called Who's the mack, that was ok, but more of a rehash of the first album. His last album, he had a pretty decent song on it, called "just a man", a pretty damn good soulful track. It's a pity it went unnoticed, as it was a decent return for him. he's got another album coming out, so maybe he might have some more decent songs on there, who knows. [Edited 10/31/09 6:42am] Mark was not big here in the States. Here, he was definitely a one-hit-wonder. I assume that was only because they only released one album for him in the States. I've heard some of his other material, but wasn't impressed by any of the songs. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I didn't know this man was British until he got arrested. This is a nice jam from the past. The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission. Should ONLY be accessed in the privacy of your mind. Words are so intense so if you dare to listen.Take off your clothes and meet me between the lines.

I kinda knew... the video was shot from those bright flashing cameras and I knew it was shot in London.

Not long after this song broke huge he went down for trying to bring a gun onto an aircraft. May have perpetuated his 'gangster' image but didn't help the career.

Nar, he'd definitely be in one-hit wonder territory in the uk too. Further publicity was only on his brushes with the law.
