Thats exactly what I think. Her two most boring uninspired albums.

"Your Honesty" and "Let Down Your Guard" should not be overlooked either.

This is my absolute favorite album by her. It was one of the few albums where she actually took chance and combined more that one style to her music. I wish she would have done more of this. With the exception of "Erotica", all of her other releases are just blah, compared to this. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Either one of those songs should have replaced "Don't Stop" on the album.

Not one of her best efforts, but the good ("Take a Bow," "Forbidden Love," "Human Nature," and especially "Secret") is excellent. It's a damn shame "Your Honesty" didn't make the cut, because it's better than most of the album.

I love every song on the album. I love that it's mellow, low-key, yet still different throughout. I wish "Your Honest" had ended up as a bonus track or something. Ernest L Sewell, IV
Confessions Of A Prince Realist. You might want to sit down for this. "An ass hanging out on stage is an ass hanging out on stage. Period."

One of my top 5 favorites by her. I love this era. That claymation video is great. "I do not understand how anyone not named Grace Jones was ever allowed to think of themselves as "fierce." - Sasha Frere-Jones

One of my favourite Madonna albums as well. After Erotica which I love the most. I really like about half of the album. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I think half the problem with the album was that it was maybe her least coherent/memorable image through her career. It's sort of leftover Erotica with a baby blue/pink palette and while she looks really strong in the Human Nature video it's kind of completely separate from the rest of the album images and it doesn't seem attached to the Bedtime Stories era. It's mid 90s Madonna rather the Bedtime Stories Madonna. The song Bedtime Story had that incredible video but it didn't work because it was too Bjork. I like the songs, many are quite good but I think she was still being punished post-Sex and this is kind of a hangover from that. Evita let her shake it and then motherhood and Ray of Light showed she'd changed.

Might be my personal all-time Madonna favorite. It definitely is for her 90s output.

I like the album a lot, but I like it best for some of the best standouts of her career. I loooove Secret, and I think her music videos, especially Bedtime Story and Human Nature are VERY iconic for her and for it's time.

One of my all time M songs.. although haven't found the "Back and Forth" sample/interpolation used. I know it's there somewhere, but just can't seem to hear it. "The same freedom you feel, is what's been blowing in my sail, since I arrived here."

This really should have been a single, but I guess they didn't wanna release two Babyface collaborations, even though "Take A Bow" became her biggest hit single.

Don't Stop
Tupac "Makaveli" Shakur (RIP 1971-1996) & Michael Jackson (RIP 1958-2009)
2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.
