Dead Artists Who here listens to artists who have passed away more than the living artists? I know this may be a morbid question, but I definitely fall into this category, and not by conscious choice. It just seems that the artists I prefer to listen to are gone. Here are some examples:

I listen to MJ very frequently and I believe I will always do so. It does not seem to just have been a phase. Now he's gone some songs seem to have quadrupled in meaning. I also listen sometimes to
"You're just another part of me" MJ

I almost forgot about Aaliyah! One of my fave singers. and Selena, as well.

Yeah I listen to Aaliyah, Selena, TLC together when I'm in the mood for them, it felt weird adding mj to the category, but though I still love him, I find it so hard to look at him now and sitting through his stuff. Of course it took on more meaning for me, but right now I'm taking a break cause I'm still shattered from his death.

I totally relate to your feelings on this. I still am in shock myself. I have to listen to his music, though, for healing.

Honestly probably just INXS and QUEEN at times i well get into a phase of just listening to them over and over, usually album cuts and rare stuff rarely hits. But aside from that, every now and then Marvin and some MJ and Rick James. a-ha "foot of the mountain TOUR 2009" a-ha "Ending on a High Note Final TOUR 2010" going everywhere!

Of all artists that are no longer with us, these cats get the most airplay on my end:
