LOVE U DOWN/Meshell Ndegeocello(READY FOR THE WORLD remake)

I just bought Meshell Ndegeocello's new CD, Devil's Halo, and I was shocked to see that she remade RFTW's 1986 hit LOVE U DOWN. Im kinda scared to listen to it..lol..how does it sound?
