I'm trying to compile a list of the greatest slow jams around.

I'm sure there have been a thousand threads on this topic before, but feel free to contribute despite your nausea.

Some greats include (barring Prince, because as far as I'm concerned, "Adore" tops many of these):

What's your definition of "slow jam"? There are a million slow songs but what would you consider a slow jam? To me a slow jam is usually a sexy song that has a nice bump and grind beat to it.

Off the top of my head....

Some of you don't know what a slow jam is! It doesn't just mean a slow song. It's a song that you can dance with your partner hip to hip. These are some examples (and of course many, many Prince songs that I'm not allowed to post!):

I guess I meant R&B/soul-type soul slow jams.

Yeah, "slow jams" is a vague term.

I consider the four songs in my first post to be "slow jams".
