90s English Pop Jam:"Millenium" by Robbie Williams

I love Robbie, he makes good music, has a great sense of humor and is the very definition of a bloke.

This was the only song of his that seemed to make an impact in Canada, and it feels like a lifetime ago. nod

I never liked this song.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

It was his debut single here in the US and his second-biggest "hit" after the follow-up, "Angels."

It's not a great song by any stretch, but I've always enjoyed it. BTW, it's actually spelled correctly: "Millennium."

elmer

better than that other one of his '...and through it all, she offers me protection. lotta love and affection, whether i'm right or wrong.....i'm loving angels instead' can't remember what it's called, maybe Angels. In England he's big news, was in the premier boy band Take That early to mid-90's and tabloid fodder ever since.
