was watching a string of Monica vidz late last night. She is the shit. Pete Rock can sure mix em up.

Everyone was always pitting her against Brandy (who couldn't sing better than Monica IMHO). Then, she helplessly watched as her boyfriend (ex?) shot himself to death in his car.  He locked himself in the car with a loaded gun, called her to come to the car's location, and as she struggled to open the door; she watched him pull the trigger. Anyone who can still hold their head up and keep going after seeing something like that is a fighter; don't care what anyone says. Monica has a voice on her but she is under-rated! I don't like her new single "Still Standing", it does nothing for me. The message you are about to hear are not meant for transmission.  So do I. The remix is not a big jump from the original but it's cool. Don't get me started on Monica, my sister used to play her cassette's on the radio ALL OF THE TIME. Especially "One Of Them Days" when it was that time of the month.  I've built a wall not to block anyone out, but to see who loves me enough to climb over it. | |
