Going back to Diane Warren (or very Diane Warren-esque) pop. Not a bad idea since "Libra" put me to sleep. Maybe she should concentrate on Europe!

This is nice. It's almost "Un-Break My Heart"-esque.

Yeah I know what you mean. It took me a minute to get into Whitney's ballads on her album, lol

Eh, eh, eh...

Soon as the drums kick in, that's my first thought.
Vocal arrangements courtesy of Jordin Sparks?
Holla @ me when she has something uptempo.

Really? Whitney took a chance with "My Love Is Your Love". Didn't have a stunning opening (perhaps thanks to the Mariah Carey duet, which is more in her 80s/early 90s style) but nearly all of the tracks caught on with and without remixes.

SoulAlive

Very pop-ish hmmm

It's not terrible but it's not very memorable, either.Who produced this?

Several months ago,the legendary producer/songwriter Thom Bell revealed that he would be working with Toni. That's exactly the type of collaborator she needs! Bring in Gamble and Huff too and she could make an excellent,Old School-styled album.
