Flawless "How bout us by Champaign"

Is anyone really feeling this song like me at the moment. The crystal clear vocals and the beat of this song, its truly timeless and the sad thing is, I have no idea who Champaign were, they had this one amazing R and B ballad and it faded into obscurity, does anyone else know about them or love this song. Its truly flawless, great voices, great beat and really sweet lyrics which equalled aural pleasure. cool

Champaign was an excellent band! I have their second album on vinyl.They released three albums in the early 80s,and are most remembered for these three hit singles:

"How Bout Us" (1980)


"Try Again" (1982)


"Off And On Love" (1984)

I love it too!!!! Thanks for reminding me. I have the vinyl somewhere and I need to make MP3 versions.

I also dug this groove from the How 'Bout Us LP.

These guys could groove,too."Let Your Body Rock" was released as the second single from their second album.Who remembers hearing this song in spring '83?
