Fishbone Reunion? update

got this news today....

Chris Dowd sang Everyday Sunshine at Warped Tour in LA
Last Sunday, on the last date of this year's Warped Tour, Chris joined Angelo on stage to sing Everyday Sunshine. "I didn't even know that was [him] until it was all over, said John Steward. No wonder it sounded so good." Word has it that the song was caught on video. Hopefully it'll turn up on Youtube sooner than later.

To date, Fish is the only OG member not to have guested in the last year or so. But he recently said in an interview with De La Soul's Maceo on the perspective of a reunion show "We're talking about it."

The guy who's been playing drums for Fishbone is actually a much better drummer than Fish... that said they're both awesome drummers.

Yeah.....Steward is amazing. But Fish is my favorite drummer ever. John Blackwell number 2 and Neil Peart number 3.

latest news is Angelo's wife has talked him into a reunion

she asked Chris after that and he said yes

next up is Kendall and then I guess Fish, and possibly John Bigham

who knows? excited

oh, and i just remembered my first thread where Fish was talking to Maceo and so that looks like he would do it too

My opinion: they should do a 'black rock' tour (24-7 Spyz, Living Colour and Fishbone) and tour for two years all over the world and make tons of dough and have tons of fun. Imagine if Prince was the headliner? Or Lenny Krappitz? This could be huge!

Personally, I'd like to see Fishbone headline a fest and feature all their side projects:
Trulio Disgracias(Norwood),
Dr MaddVibe (Angelo)
Columbus Sanitation and/or Year OF The Dragon (Walt Kibby).
Mr Green's All-Stars Norwood and Fish plus Rocky George from the current F'Bone).

All local flavor; that's a good first step.
