I'm upset by that too. I would never buy or wear the "Thriller" pair. Oh my goodness no. I'd pick the 4th pair if his name wasn't spelled wrong. But I don't really want any of these new shoes like this. I received the best MJ sneakers years ago. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Farrakhan Gives Speech On The Crucifixionof Michael Jackson July 26 On Sunday, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan delivered a speech in Chicago from Mosque Maryam about the death of superstar, Michael Jackson. The speech, entitled “The Crucifixion of Michael Jackson and All Responsible Black Leadership” was broadcast live via world wide webcast from the Nation of Islam Web site. In his speech, Farrakhan spoke of how he counseled the King of Pop during times of deep depression and how the singer revealed to him he never had a childhood. “When he met with Shirley Temple Black, they both sat down and cried together, because Shirley Temple Black was a childhood star that I remember as a little boy and you know, when you’re gifted like that, you don’t have a childhood,” said Farrakhan. Jackson spoke to Farrakhan of the tumultuous relationship he had with his father, Joe Jackson, and the minister told him, “…don’t be angry with your father because even though you didn’t have pillow fights and sleepovers, those who had pillow fights and sleepovers—they’re the ones buying your records… You had a purpose for your life.” Minister Farrakhan spoke of Jackson’s “This Is It Tour” and said “Michael was on his way to the cross, because Michael had touched the hearts of people all over the world. Michael touched the hearts of every race, every culture, every ethnic group, every tribe.” According to ABC News, Jackson had several ties to the Nation of Islam. He used members of the Nation as bodyguards during his trial for child molestation charges and his brother, Jermaine Jackson, converted to Islam in 1989. http://www.examiner.com/x...el-Jackson

Is anyone watching The Michael Jackson Story on TVOne? I'm watching and was surprised to hear Katherine Jackson say that when Michael was 17 and the Epic Execs told her that the other brothers should start saving their money because Michael was going solo. She said she told them no and when they questioned her saying that Michael didn't need them. She says she told them no because they needed him. That sent an eerie chill up my spine and I can't help it but I'm viewing Katherine very differently right now. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

She didn't want the boys to be broken up, especially at the time when the family's ground was shaky (Goin Places didn't sell that well, The variety show had been cancelled) "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. Right now I'm reading the Jackson Family Values book. I don't quite know what to make of these people...Katherine included. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

I said it before, they will not miss an opportunity to cash in, they will take advantage even from his death, This is really disgusting, I would never buy a shoes with My idol face on it, especially if he is dead, I agree! I have no intention of buying any of these shoes,I just thought that the artistic talent that went into designing them was pretty cool. I don't see anything wrong with that, and plus MJ wasn't ready to be without his brothers at that time. Also, after Goin' Places failed, they basically had to have a great alum, or all of them would have been dropped from the label. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Michael's story would've been really different if they were dropped from CBS and had he agreed to leave them at the time. He did the right decision at the time. Besides MJ didn't wanna leave yet.
