Throughout this whole ordeal...people keep saying Michael was taken from us. God took him from us too soon. I heard all throughout the memorial and before as well as after it. U know what, God didn't take ANYONE. Michael gave himself away. Mike had a drug problem and everyone knew about it. He'd been to rehab at least one time that we know about. His friends and family shoulda helped him help himself instead of letting him be surrounded by yes-men and yes-doc's. Maybe the doctor's had a hand in it, maybe we, as the public, had a hand in it. The public put an immense amount of pressure on mike to achieve and perform. I'm sure it didn't help. But at the end of the day. It was Mike's drug problem that did him in. Nobody took mike but himself. I heard people blaming god, blaming jesus for taking him...they blamed the devil. NO. THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED. Jermaine said himself on Larry King, "I'm not educated about drugs and I don't wanna be." Well, Jermaine, and anyone else in the Jackson family. If U had educated yourself and implemented what U had learned, U could helped your brother with his problem. I think the public had a small part in Michael's problem, but Mike himself is responsible. Nobody took him. It is what it is. Michael Jackson was a grown ass man, they can't put him in a choke hold and force him to not take drugs. People may NEVER accept the fact that the man was an addict. From what we know so far Michael has been abusing substances for years now. I believe he had extra help from Doctors, the DEA has gotten in on this and they will be dealt with. Deepak Chopra said Michael knew how to be unreachable when you questioned his addiction on drugs. Drugs had took a toll on Michael's health, the media just kept lying to us, saying he was healthy. How are you gonna be healthy and your a 105-112 pounds, and kept pushing shows back. Michaels' chef was on Nancy Grace. He said when he arrived he was told to drive around for 5 mins because Joe Jackson showed up and was not let in. Joe was pissed and finally left. The chef said he was told Michaels cardiologist was to stay overnight to watch him. He said he also noticed a lot of oxygen tanks in the garage. He said it wasn't his business since the head Doctor was there. I read that Michael told Brittany Spears "Don't end up like me", she said it was eerie like he knew he was gonna die. He told her to take time out and spend time with family. I believe the Jackson's knew about Michael's health as well, it was only a secret to us. Joe Jackson wasn't let in that house for a reason.

There are a lot of ppl out there trying to cover their ass(doctors) and ppl telling stories just to get their 15 minutes of fame. Wait until all the infomation has come in and not base our opinions on hearsay. | |

I was just flipping thru my copy and I liked this quote from one of the last pages What one wishes is to be touched by truth and to be able tointerpret that truth so that one may use what one is feeling and experiencing, be it dispair or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one's life and will hopefully touch others as well.

I'm glad his dermatologist put all those rumors to rest about Michael not wanting to be black and not really having vitiligo. His interview on Larry King was good and respectful I think. | |

Like the drawings that were found in that stuff of his from victory era. Its also signed by him with 1998 at the end of the signature. I'm thinking its either a special edition (was there even such a thing?) or someone is a very good imiatator of Michaels style. I keep meaning to upload it as I mentioned it a few months ago. Theres also that picture of the Triumph album and the drawer slimmed Michaels nose down. | |

There is so much to celebrate about Michael's life. It feels like this thread is just another tabloid outlet recirculating the venom. If you don't have something positive to say about Michael, this still isn't the thread for it. For those of you who are the die hard MJ fans, my thoughts and prayers are with you. My pain from this loss runs deep so I can only imagine how you are all feeling.

Peace and love to all! As I told my hubby. All people can do is say negative things about someone who has passed on. He's not here now to defend himself. A memorial/funeral is to honour the person who has passed on. I think it's a good idea to leave out the negative stuff. It's disrespectful, my 2 cents.
