Everyone grieves differently! I mean Janet appeared on the BET show so was she not grieving either? What about Jermaine since he was in 2 interviews already?
I just don't think it's right to judge him...We're looking in from the outside
So we don't know shit! wink

Unlike Joseph, Janet and Jermaine were both obviously sad, and Jermaine started crying.

But then again, Jermaine started to laugh when he was discussing Michael's Giving Tree with Larry King.... confuse

I don't know. I don't understand most of these people that were around Michael. I've even seen a picture of Prince I smiling somewhere outside, which was captioned as being taken a few days after this tragedy. I have to remember where I saw that, but if anyone knows what photo I'm talking about, please post it.

All I'm saying is that we don't know what Joe is going through
and Yes, that photo is from x17online.com
I think it's wonderful that he's smiling
It means he's copping well wink

Isn't that what he did? Besides mentioning his record label?
All I'm saying is that we don't know shit! For all we know he may be grieving, ya know? Just because he's isn't showing it doesn't mean he's not lol

look , I hate this "grieving differently" excuse, the person who died is his "SON",I find it bewildering that he is walking like this happy, smiling like there is no tomorrow. eek

Oh my....

zzz

Many people take death differently! Some cry, others don't and some even laugh! Believe it or not! Some cultures even celebrate death!

Well there is that DEEP voice he has. lol But the videos don't show much different. Michael's just a little lighter in the '96 one, lol.

when someone loses their smile and laugh they need to be locked way lol

I think Jermaine was more so laughing at Larry King's reactions to being told about Michael's tree.

People must think i'm the worst kind of crazy because i greeted most everyone with a kind smile and there were even times we laughed at the viewings for both my grandparents over the past 2 years. eek

You're right. But I just feel as long as he doesn't talk, lol, he'll be cool. Also knowing how well his "business deals" go, maybe that was his last attempt of giving the leeches what they want, lol.

Exactly. I've heard them react differently when they were comfortable. Michael always had that high voice because he was petrified of how people would perceive him.

According to fans on Max Jax- Michael's ghost was seen spotted walking across the hall in the back at 8:20 seconds of this video

That is weird eek

[Edited 7/4/09 9:33am]
[Edited 7/4/09 9:33am]

at first i was gonna say it was someone walking behind them because there were people all over that place during this BUT they turned right around after they look down the hall and it's that's small bathroom plus you'd be able to see their shadows aswell. hmmm I'm a little confused about the lay out of the area they're in because I don't know where they came into from and the camera's done spun around but then as they go on you see people in a doorway so my money's on one of them being the shadow.

THIS IS HILARIOUS ROOBY-DOOO it's not a ghost it's the lighting guys

I have read people calling him senile and other nonsense because they dont like what he is saying,
He knew and worked with him and these are his opinions.
He doesn’t seen like the type to sugar coat or beat around the bush with BS, he said, he is not a psychiatrist, these are just his own observations.

I don’t think any of what he said was disrespectful, or spiteful, just personal observations, MJ was a lot of good and great things, but lets not delude ourselves and pretend he was perfect, even in our time of loss lets not go overboard.

I know I keep posting this, but I can't bear to go through 50 pages. Is there any news of a Melbourne memorial? I know there was a crappy tiny one the other day.

Will the staples center memorial be broadcast on Aussie tv?

Marlon, Randy & Jermaine haven't been on tv & the red carpet steady grinnin' & promoting stuff though neutral Not saying they won't try to get their piece (if the stuff about memorials around the world is true eek ) but nobody has shit on Joe. I think the only people in the family who wouldn't try to exploit him to some degree is Janet (she doesn't need to, loves him I'm sure), his mom, & Reebie (how the hell do you spell that shit??) seems to have some dignity. I know they all loved him on some level, but that meal ticket shit is real too...

I'm aware that everyone grieves differently & no one really knows what's up from the outside. But Janet made 1 appearance & was very stoic, said a few words & bounced. She wasn't on the red carpet smiling & actin' a fool, & while I haven't seen any of Jermaine's intvs I doubt he's been inappropriate & he is the family spokesperson after all, so he's been required to speak lately. Their reactions are very different from Joe's. If you can't see that, you might be Joe Jackson on 'nis mf lol

I am deeply saddened by the death of MICHAEL JACKSON. I was shocked when I heard the news on the radio. I immediately called my brother, sister and then my mom to confirm the news. No one knew for sure, but we hoped it wasn’t true. As more and more news sources confirmed the report, my heart sank. How could MICHAEL JACKSON be gone so soon and so suddenly?

I was a fan, like all of you. MICHAEL JACKSON’S music was like a backdrop to my life. I remember excitedly sitting in front of the TV with my sisters to watch the THRILLER video air for the first time. I was frightened by the scary make up, but also in awe of the dance moves and the fact that it was more of a movie than any music video I had ever seen. I remember when PYT was my favorite, watching The Wiz for the first time, when my mom participated in WE ARE THE WORLD and when I SCREAMED along with Janet and Michael.

I’m lucky enough to also have wonderful memories of meeting MICHAEL JACKSON, which I will cherish in my heart forever. I remember gorging on candy in his “candy room” at the ranch. I remember Michael dancing with my mom on stage and even better dancing in my living room with my little brother. My favorite memory is singing to him on the phone. I was so proud that I knew the words. “Mama say, mama sa, mama kusa,” I sang as he giggled on the other end.

In my eyes, Michael was a kind, sweet, youthful man. I never believed any negative allegations and I will continue to defend him when people make jokes. I was shocked and saddened beyond belief that even in his death, people can continue to say negative, mean things. My heart goes out to the family and to the kids. This is so very sad ☹

I'm curious - what would this "memorials around the world" thing be like? I mean, do you really want them carting the dude's body all around the world? confuse Or would it just be a gathering of people? I don't get it. How important is it for fans to be able to say goodbye really? confused
