Me too, buddy. I LOVED the free stuff. They have to be just unloading stuff over there at times, even back then. I remember getting into U2 in the Navy in 1987 in Philly. I bought all their back catalog and didn't even pay like $20 for everything.

You can always tell a BMG or Columbia House album, because their stock number is in place of the UPC code.

Yeah, my copy doesn't have that D100349-code printed on it.

thumbs up!

He scored good with that groove. Even UK-singer Mark Morrison used the main melody for "Return Of The Mack" lol

My first walkman was a Philips Moving Sound in 1987, it was this hideous traiangular shaped wedge thing that was red and grey with yellow and electric blue pastel stripes and a pizza shaped thing it was. I remember it had those cheep ass orange earmuffs with the cheep wire things thats adjusted for head size and they always sangged my nappy ass hair in them. The album I used it for was a thing called Solid Gold Hits 87 with the following songs
Breakout - Swing Out Sister
Respectable - Mel and Kim
Rumours by ?????
Livin on Prayer - Bon Jovi
I wanna dance with somebody - Whitney Houston
It dosen't have to be that way - Blow Monkeys
Caravan of Love - Housemartins
U Got the Look - Prince
I cant stop lovin you - Michael Jackson
Lost in Emotion - Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam
Wild Child - Billy Idol

I loved that tape and walkman, think I replaced it in about 1990 and 1995 got my first Discman, a SHARP, the ones that skipped all the time
So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time

I remember when these 1st came out. SO EXPENSIVE. disbelief Buying one back then was like buying a top of the line blu ray recorder these days! I'm listening to Rick James on mine right now tho. lol Mix tape city. It's nice to have a walkman as I found out during some very bad storms, esp if yours runs on one battery like mine does.

I still love mine (Panasonic) and use it quite often to play tapes and radio. cool
