Def Leppard

I don't care what anyone says razz ... this band had a lot of good songs. I can understand why some people might hate them based on "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and songs like those, and I've heard their post-'80s stuff is terrible (or "even worse" for those that don't like them anyhow lol ), but "Photograph", "Hysteria", "Love Bites", "Armageddon It", "Foolin'", "Bringin' on the Heartbreak", etc.... all great hard rock/pop songs, IMO.

They are still incredible. I saw them about 2 years ago in concert, and they still rocked the shit outta every damn song. I'm glad that they're all original members, sans the one who died. Journey opened for them and there was like two original members. They were horrible. They didn't even have the Steve Perry look/sound alike with them that night.

I saw them about 15 years ago (gulp!) and they were fun. I remember every single person at school having that album.

I saw them last week when they headlined the Download festival. It was a good show, very very professional. They do sound fantastic just wish they would mix it up a little.

Some of their post 80s work is good. Now from the X album is probably the best song they've done in the last decade and one of my faves.

Hysteria is one of my all-time favorite albums. That's like their "Purple Rain" - they had a few hits before, but almost every song from Hysteria was a hit (and a huge tour). The album that came out after Hysteria had some success, but it really tried too hard to be Hysteria II (I didn't care for that one).

I remember back in the day all the kids said that Def Leppard were satanists because of that little 'Pour Some Sugar On Me' intro.

Speaking of intros.. what's that Def Leppard song with the intro that sounds like Swedish Chef from the Muppets? I hate that song.

But I've always liked "Bringin' On The Heartbreak." Heck, I even liked Mariah's cover. (Please, no shunning.)

"Rock of Ages" The intro is a nonsense German-flavored phrase. It has no meaning. It's there just because.
