falloff @ both SCNDLS and Banks Patti stories. Hilarious.

But she was off-key wasn't she. I thought it was just me. Reminded me of those YouTube videos where they mess with the vocals.

I adore George.

But one thing make me sad, though. Remember his duets with Jodey Watley, Aretha Franklin? How he could keep up with them quite well (well, big girls always have more power and for a white boy...). And his rendition of If You Were My Woman or Ain't Nobody..

20 years ago he would have sung Beyonce against the wall.

Nowadays it seems his vibrato has gone and he just can sing late bar songs. Slow, breathy, mellow.

I miss the power.

btw, do BK fans actually know who GM is?

mad

well, he was big in the US after all.

Justin T. knows him as well, and you know what his fave of G is? Not Careless Whisper, Faith or Freedom... it's Cowboys & Angels.

C'mon, that's a slight to Bey and not George by any means as well as a slight throwback to a few jokes we've had on here starting with Etta James.

I'll take George over Bey any day.

no, she is thin and vocally can't be compared with Aretha, Chaka or Gladys. I just wanted to make a point and hoped I could fool people. Not everyone knows Jodey!

George Michael's used to be it back in the day! He was nice to look at, as far as Beyonce singing over him, her voice is just powerful she can't help it!

Umm, she could.
I like her but if she were a proper vocalist, rather than just a singer with a big voice she could.

Anyone 30 or over would, at least in the US. After she left Shalimar and became a solo act she was a tremndous star during the 80's. She was everywhere...

That was funny and great at the same time.
