I'm not sure if half of the things posted here sound anything like the 80s. Usually when you think something newer "sounds like an 80s track" it usually doesn't when you play a real song from the 80s after it. The vibe is usually completely different, as well as the way the songs are constructed. Is it just the synths to some people's ears? Not having a rimshot for snare?

Tesla Boy from Moscow is one of the most authentic, newer 80s type of bands around I think:

Calvin Harris - I Created Disco

yes yes yes yes I had so much fun with this album. It's one of my top albums of this decade. Whenever I think of this time period I will think of this album. This album reminds me so much of 2007 and puts me back smack into all that all the energy and fun of the music of this decade and the parties and the live shows. All of that. This album is pretty much like a time capsule and a snapshot of what it felt like for me to dance to this type of stuff, bug out, vibe. Live to this stuff. "Acceptable in the 80s" is an anthem of the '00s > "The Girls" is an addictive goodtime anthem and the album is Like a love letter to this era and it's so unassuming. <3 yes yes yes yes

You can hear my voice shouting "HA!" in minute 1:25 of the first clip.
