Guy comeback?

Visited with a friend yesterday. He was at an Atlanta studio this past week and Guy was there, complete with Aaron Hall. I guess thet are on the comeback trail.

Yes it's the New Jack Swing yes T.R. is my name
Make you dance entertain is the way I do my thing baby....

I hope the fellas know to be themselves this time and not chase the radio like "Guy III" and Blacksreet's "Level 3". I wanna see Teddy create a whole new sound like he did with the 1st two Guy albums, Bobby Brown's 2nd album, "Wrecks-N-Effect", and the 1st 3 Blackstreet albums

Wanna Get With U

lol George Clinton said in an interview that even if you can't sing, you can ACT like you can sing. So at least Teddy only "sang" lead on the uptempo, fun stuff like "My Fantasy", "D-O-G Me Out" He let Aaron bust out all their ballads right? I doubt he could imagine himself singin "Piece Of My Love", "Goodbye Love", "Let's Chill" and their cover of The GAP Band's "Yearning".... he he

I actually thought it was pretty decent. Of course half of the songs
were good and half were blah but shit at least imo it was better than
the last blackstreet comeback. Now that was a real disaster.
The problem i have with another guy comeback is teddy's flip flopping.
He abandoned the group after the last album. I've lost interest in
anything teddy riley related 10 years ago. As for another reunion
thanks but no thanks. Next!

How many times are they gonna attempt a "comeback"? They've done this several times already.Teddy has also tried to bring Blackstreet back too,but that never seems to work out either.

I'll bet it is a money issue....but how much money could they generate at this point. There are a lot of broke artist walking around these days.

I agree with you on the Blackstreet also. It was horrendous also. I keep trying to build Teddy up in my mind, but I really think his hey-day is over. I did enjoy the remix he did of John Legend's "It's Over", but that was it.
