Anyone rrr'member this cut...



I stumbled upon two of their albums 'All Night Music', and 'Loving Is Living' while flip'n through some crate's . ...well actually one, b'cause 'All Night Music' was just an album cover only, but I'm sure it's mixed in with another LP somewhere.

I bought the McCrays lp "All Night Music" as a import back in `82.It`s a great Wayne Henderson prodution with the classic tune "Love On a Summer Night" where Henderson blows a solo on his trombone.It`s a shame that this lp never has been reissued on cd.

The lp also contains other good tunes as "Night Room" and "For You" etc....
Overall a superb lp.They had another lp on Capitol Records in`81 produced by
Patrick Henderson but that lp was not as stong as "All Night Music" .

I never thought that their lps on Portrait Records was particularly good.

If my memory serves me right i also think that McCrays did a gospel lp on another record label but i never heard that lp
