There is no denying Michael has been visiting the Doctors recently, and the pics do seem to allude to possible issue with Skin Cancer. Whether or not it is as severe as being reported remains to be seen. But it is worrying.

What impact, if any, it will have on the concerts remains to be seen. Time will tell.

In related music news - Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode was recently diagnosed with cancer and had an operation to remove a tumor, resulting in 9 cancelled shows including their O2 show. The band are due to recommence their tour on June 8.

He's being going to the doctor since at least late last year already... so nothing's really changed... whatever he supposedly has is known (to him and probably his people) since months already... if it would be an issue in regards to the concerts, the deal wouldn't have happened... so calm down!

He's always gone to the doctor. We just see more pics now cause it keeps his name in the papers, get people wondering what "wacko" is doing and then came the big announcement. But at times, his eyes looked dazed, his skin looked red on the sides, and he was covering up way more than usual, even with the mask. It looked nothing like the masks he wore in the 80's and 90's.

CANCER-stricken MICHAEL JACKSON is terrified his nose will FALL OFF.

The King of Pop is in constant fear of dying, close friends have told The Sun.

One revealed: “Michael is in a fragile state at the moment and the skin cancer diagnosis has terrified him.

“He has been told he has a very good chance of recovering and that his cancer is very treatable. But he is still very stressed and worried.”

The troubled Thriller star has seen top doctors in Los Angeles after cancerous skin cells were found on his nose, chest and arm.

And he has to cancel the first four of his 50 gigs at London’s O2 this summer.

Our source said: “Michael has become convinced that his nose is going to fall off.

“The doctors have reassured him that this won’t happen.

“But Michael believes that the skin cancer will kill him and lives in constant fear of dying.

“His chances are excellent but he is very afraid.”

Jacko, 50, has already had shave biopsies on his chest, arm and nose to remove potentially lethal growths since the cancer was diagnosed last month.

But The Sun can reveal that Jacko will NOT have to undergo gruelling radiotherapy to cure his disease.

Instead the cancer will be scraped off layer by layer.

The source added: “It is a huge boost to Michael because it gives him a much better chance of a quicker recovery than the radiotherapy.

“He is desperate to perform for his fans in London and this is great news for him.”

More than 80,000 fans have already been left disappointed after Jacko shelved the first four of his sell-out British gigs.

The multi-million selling star — whose hits include Bad and Billie Jean — insisted he also needed more time to rehearse to ensure the shows were truly spectacular.

This is an old picture.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

AKON has disappointed scores of fans who have splashed out on tickets for MICHAEL JACKSON's comeback concerts by insisting the King of Pop won't be singing live.
The R&B star, who has previously collaborated with the Thriller hitmaker, admits Jackson won't be showing off his vocals during This Is It, his upcoming seven-month London residency, and will instead rely on a pre-recorded track.
He says, "Michael singing I'm not so sure about. He will perform but not sing."
But Akon maintains audiences at the British capital's O2 Arena will still be thrilled by the spectacular show Jackson is planning: "It's going to be amazing, I can definitely tell you that. I'm going to have front row tickets. I will have the best tickets in the house and will be so close to the stage you will think that I am on it."
Jackson is scheduled to kick off This Is It in July (09)

lol

I told you Michael Jackson has NO Talent! ZERO Talent!! I have been online for a good 15 years repeating the samething... This guy is nothing. All smoke & mirrors. It's actually pretty boring being 100% right and repeating the same claims. Now I see "most" agree with me. I see posts and topics from people saying exactly what I have been saying about Michael Jackson. I'm right & they are 100% right. It's NOT very hard to notice....

Why put the word "Live" in your .com for the event? He knows what we know now! This has been a slow build of debunking all the claims this guy is talented. Sure at 25 years old he was a star... but by 35 he was a hasbeen, all because there isnt anything at the core of this man's talent. Repeating what was cool when I was 12 years old in the Thriller era isn't cool when you see it again and again and again and again and yes again and again.

Very simple way to shut everyone up.. walk on stage - to a microphone - turn it ON - then sing. Very easy, very simple. IF you can sing. But he can't.

Ignore all the side show bullshit of getting surgery, changing skin tone, sexual personal life & jacko stunts being released on a weekly basis.. AT THE CORE Michael Jackson can't sing. He has 1/16th of 1 % of the talent he pretends to have. IF I am wrong for the last 15+ years... then WHY does this guy not sing live? Why does he lip sync every tv performance in his solo career. Every known major performance is lip synced. Dance numbers (lip synced) Ballads (lip synced).

Where is the skill in repeating the stage show for the jacksons & then recreating the music videos for his solo career? It's the same stage show "basically" since 1984 - 1988. The only difference this guy can't dance anymore and they needed to splice 2 concerts into one for the CBS broadcast of the 2001 MSG shows. lol

You know you see James Brown at 70+.. Frank Sinatra working his ass off in his 70's - Sammy Davis Jr with cancer wanting to perform and really showing the heart and love for the stage.. shit a fat drugged up Elvis who forgot words and looked like a train wreck at the end - SANG LIVE and sounded pretty damn good. Now look at Michael Jackson - he has been basically over at 40 years old! Nothing new, repeating the past and never singing live.

You avoiding my point. One minute Akon is used as proof that MJ can still sing, now he knows nothing about him? I'm not talking about the actual show planning, but it sounds like he doesn't think MJ is CAPABLE of singing live. Since he worked with MJ in the studio, I guess he knows how his voice is.

It's funny how all of a sudden people are 'approving releasing these secret details' from rehearsals, so that means they're credible? I can just as easily say "I know a dancer who says that MJ can't squeak a note out to save his life", BFD.

The proof that MJ could sing was not Akon, it was MJ’s recorded vocals released for us to hear. I grant you that they were heavily processed and not necessarily proof of anything, but nevertheless, when fans claim that MJ can still sing, that's what they're basing it on, not a quote by Akon.

Yeah, but look at what Will I Am said as well- that Jackson's voice is perfect.

It just proves that you can't take all these articles seriously. They need to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Its best to wait and see how he does on the stage. That's the best way to see whether he still has it in himself to do live performances.

http://www.contactmusic.c...ct_1102630

WILL.I.AM is attempting to silence MICHAEL JACKSON's critics by praising the the pop superstar's singing, insisting his voice is still "perfect".
The Thriller hitmaker is set to perform a mammoth run of 50 dates in London, beginning this summer (09) - his first live shows since 2001.
The singer has been dogged by speculation about his ability to perform, following a string of rumours concerning his health, but Will.i.am, who recently recorded new material with Jackson, insists the pop legend can still belt out tunes - and his secret is a three-hour vocal warm-up.
He tells Starpulse, "He's just 'mi mi mi mi mi mi'. He's doing both voice testing just to sing for five minutes. He's testing his voice for three hours to sing for five minutes. (Bandmate) Fergie don't do that s**t. Usher don't do that s**t. None of the people that you think still got it do that. I've seen it, in my house.
"That's because he's a perfectionist and he just likes testing his voice. I've seen it... Perfect pitch."
