I heard this on the band's MySpace page. I remember them playing it at Joe's Pub here in NY last year too. The recorded version sounds a lot better.

I agree. I remember them performing it in their set, too. Along with "White Russian Doll" that you had told me about after the gig. That was my first time hearing the tune and I do recall it having a really nice, sunny quality to it. Despite Ali's throat problems that night.

I've been following the recording process of the new album @ their blog http://blog.luckysoul.co.uk/ which they frequently update [with really detailed/kinda nerdy, awesome tidbits for people who are really into the session goings-on, equipment used, inner most thoughts, etc.] Twitter, too.

Very cool, I'll have to check that blog out. Since the NY show I've downloaded all of the band's b-sides that were available on iTunes so I'm hungry for more music from them.

this song is pretty good! I'd like to hear more of their stuff, and the lead singer is supercute

Their debut album The Great Unwanted is very good. It doesn't look like it will ever get released in the states though so you should look for the import or just download it from iTunes.
