Seriously, guys. This kid was something.

He had a voice a bit like Brian Johnson, only deeper, and was rocking out on a rectangular Bo Diddley-looking guitar. He was throwing out, of all things, Depeche Mode tunes. And he was amazing!

He wasn't anyone's idea of pretty. Skinny and scraggly toothed and with sort of an Emo Philips/Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka haircut, and sporting an early 60's blue suit. But holy crap could he play. His guitarwork was a bit unpolished but given time he could really kick some ass with it.

The modern music industry needs a whole lot less pretty but boring shits like Timberlake, and a whole lot more talented, if maybe not so cute, kids like the one I saw tonight.


Bravo to him.
