Well, that certainly was different. I didn't expect a song full of strings--sounded very nice though. How soon before the new album is released stateside?

Can't win 'em all. I more wanted to post new material than get caught up in the quality of the tune.
I'm kinda disturbed that they altered the Killers' original lyrics "Never look a thing like Jesus" changed it to "Never look a thing like she does" -- it just throws off the whole tune, imo. Would've been better if they kept Jesus in, but I'm guessing the original mucked with the spiritual convictions of one of the Noisettes? Scared of controversy? Dunno.

I'm not sure when the album will be out Stateside, I'm afraid. This disc has been pushed back a lot in the UK. It was originally to come in February, then March, now I'm simply hoping their record company will stick to a 20 April release like play.co.uk says. I think they're going to focus more of their energy on the UK this year since "Don't Upset The Rhythm" is doing very well there @ the moment (went to #2 on the UK Singles Chart thanks to it being heavily featured in a widely-seen Mazada advert). Also, they've posted most of their major tour stops on their myspace for Summer [they're supporting Maxïmo Park and doing a bunch of UK fests] and I don't see North America anywhere in sight, so it looks like if the album does surface, it won't be out here until late Summer, Fall.

Ahhh, I hate when UMG disables embeds. I can't post the two videos.
"Don't Upset The Rhythm" is the lead single from the new album. Two versions of this video have been recorded. It was heavily featured in a Mazada ad that gained a lot of mileage in the UK, so they're capitalizing on it. First version: http://www.youtube.com/wa...gnXo-ipXHI (a funky, cheekier version with dancers) Newest version: http://www.youtube.com/wa...qfmGokiPe8 (sleeker, more contemporary version with just the band) And this is the Live Lounge version:

"Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)" (first version) is completely not what I would expect from them! Very dancey and dare I say a touch 80's I love it! Ooh this better be coming out in the US If you will, so will I

It's a great song for spring and the warmer weather we're having lately. It's 77 degrees right now and I'm getting ready to blast some Noisettes on my way to the riverside.

Both of the new songs you posted sound great. I like "Wild Young Hearts" more than "Don't Upset The Rhythm" which has a more groove-y sound than what the band has done in the past.

OK, I'm going to say it for myself, this is one of my top albums of 2009 easily.
So far I'm really loving the tracks: Cheap Kicks (currently absorbed in this song) Never Forget You (new single) 24 Hours (had this on repeat for a full week) Saturday Night (this track is so heroic and electronic, didn't expect something like this, but welcomed change!) Wild Young Hearts So Complicated
