Good for her. I can appreciate any artist who at least attempts to perform something outside of their usual genre. Also, I'm surprised by all the hate here for Beyonce. Its almost like she has too many things going for her and people (jealous bitches) cant wrap their heads around it.

To me it sounds and looks like she did a good job with it and the song fits her!

No one demands that you give anybody "props." I'm just surprised by the amount of people who go out of there way to be nasty about her. I'm not her number 1 fan or anything, but I think she is under-appreciated as a stage performer and a respectable role model in an age of very few.

She mixed this into "If I Were A Boy" because she was in Canada, I read. That reminds me....I hate how she does IIWAB live. She uses melisma, scales, mic echo and fan machines in lieu of anything that feels raw and real...or from the soul. It's weird.

Looking at her most recent topics on the org, I see that maybe she doesn't have a lot of fans here. lol But, she's everywhere--releasing two singles at a time, mind you--and now she's on tour so....More product more stuff to critique, I guess. I bet she got a bit more love when the "Single Ladies" vid first came out....but a little bit of her gravy goes all over the plate, as grandma used to say.

From the responses, I was expecting it to be awful, but it's really not that bad . I still can't believe that this song was about Uncle Joey from 'Full House'....he must have really pissed Alanis off.

Comedian Dave Coulier has admitted for the first time that Alanis Morissette’s angst-ridden hit song "You Outta Know" is about their rocky former relationship.

The "Full House" funnyman, 48, told the Calgary Herald that he first heard the hit song, which features lyrics such as "And I'm here to remind you / Of the mess you left when you went away," was when he was driving.


"I said, 'Wow, this girl is angry.' And then I said, 'Oh man, I think it's Alanis,'" Coulier revealed. "I listened to the song over and over again, and I said, 'I think I have really hurt this person.'"

After then calling Morissette to ask what he should say to the press, the former lovers met for a day to work things out.

"And it was beautiful," Coulier added. “It was one of those things where it was kind of like, 'We're good'."

Coulier previously denied that he was the subject of Morissette's lyrical scorn, telling Contact Music in 2006, "I never said that song was about me."
