MJ- "Ghost" and "is it scary"

did both of these evolve from the same song? which on do you like better?

They did evolve from the same song but I think "Is It Scary" is better. It has a darkness to it

Is It Scary was written in the Dangerous sessions and evolved into Ghosts. And it shows IMO. Ghosts is much better. Is It Scary really does sound like a demo.

I find both completely crap. The low point of his career.

I like Is It Scary for the better instrumentation and the bridge.

"Is it scary"... I think that's one of the best songs he's eve done! But I also like "Ghosts" a lot!

If I remember correctly "Is it scary" was originally intended for the second Addams Family movie, but the project fell through, when the first allegations hit!

I love the verses of Is It Scary but as a whole I like probably Ghosts more.

I like Is It Scary.

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis produced Is It Scary and I believe Teddy Riley and MJ produced Ghosts.

I prefer Is It Scary ..there alot more emotion and feeling.

Both great, great songs.

I prefer Is It Scary, but it's close. The verses in that song are some of MJ's best work.

I like both. "Ghosts" is catchy and fun to dance too, but I prefer "Is It Scary" overall. I like the lyrics a lot. I think it's one of the most honest songs MJ has ever written about himself.

Relistening to them both now I still prefer Ghost due to its ability to hook you from the start. Is It Scary though is a lot more epic in its arrangement and the latter half of the song just soars.

both are great songs.

The music at the end of the song "Is it scary" is one of a kind, Just Unbelievable, the bridge is another part when it shows the greatness of Mj's voice, its one of those scary songs that MJ loves to record but i think its different,I love the song....

Ghosts is another great song, you all need to get the instrumental of the song and listen to it , so much work has been done on this track.

I think both songs were written during the Hitory sessions not dangerous.
