Tal Wilkenfeld is a beast on the bass

[b][color=blue]Distaff bass guitar player Tal Wilkenfeld is making good waves in her stint in the band of iconic guitar player Jeff Beck.
They just completed a tour of Australia and New Zealand and are currently in Japan. The band which also includes: Vinnie Colaiuta on drums and David Sancious on keyboards will perfomr at Jeff Beck's induction as a solo act into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 4th at Cleveland, Ohio's Public Hall.
This is the first time ever that the induction has been open to the public and tickets sold out in 2 hours. No worries, it will be shown live on Fuse TV and Fuse online as well.

Below are two clips from the Australian shows:
"Snake Oil" with a bass solo intro by Tal

This girl IS A BEAST!! I first saw her talent on YouTube. She played along with Jeff on Stevie's, "Because we ended as lovers". Her solo on that song, made my jaw drop. She started out playing the guitar for five years and then switched to the bass. Her first CD is really good.

Yeah, she's great.

I read here that she and John Blackwell were working with Prince on some music.

I doubt that stuff will see the light of day if it exists.

If Prince put a band together with Tal, John, and Renato.

Man, that would be KILLER!!!

But yeah, Tal's tremendously talented at such a young age of 22 or 23.
JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!!

Tal is a very talented young lady. She's playing with some of the biggest names in the music industry. She is currently working with Prince on the Shelby J project.
