Is there a database, website or blog out there that keeps track of classic album remasters?

There are lots of old albums that I would love to crack open if they were remastered and/or had extra footage.

I bought the Warner Remaster of Van Halen's MCMLXXXIV and loved it. Want more.

It'd be sweet if there were! I have so many older albums to catch up with and I much prefer remasters! cool
If you will, so will I

I'm thinking now is the time for me to invest in vinyl? I get kinda obscure when I dig through the '70s. I'm having a time finding Darts' album "Everyone Plays Darts" on CD. I like the sound of vinyl, but, I'd be so cluttered with lots of it @ my place [No offense to any vinyl fans reading this]. I would love vinyl if it were more compact and fit with my lifestyle.

I'm kinda spoiled by all this digital/on-demand/press-play/YouTube/think-it,play-it music.

I say this only because I know for a fact there's a lot of rare grooves out there from the '60s, '70s & '80s that never made it to the digital format or crossed over to CD in the mid-'80s.

I know what you mean about being spoiled! I have a record player and my pop gave me his old vinyls, plus I have some of my own...yet when I want to put on some music, I'm so much more likely to just double-click on something in my windows media library
If you will, so will I

Yeah, I feel ya.

Well @ least you can keep it in your possession. Personally, my older brother takes any and all vinyl that any of my relatives had and hordes it in his music collection. I can't blame him, I don't really spin vinyl. I rarely pop in CDs these days unless I'm driving or something.

Between my siblings and I, we listen to a BOATLOAD of music.

I'm glad this album is getting the deluxe treatment but honestly I don't know if I want to buy it a thrid time on CD. the 2001 remaster is excellent.
Btw, I recently got the Eat To The Beat CD/DVD which has all the vids from that album, only a few of which are included on Sound & Vision. I highly recommend that one if anyone is looking for blondie clips.

OK so I broke down and purchased this after I said I wasn't going to. Anyone know what's the deal with the song "Parallel Lines"? The lyrics appear on this CD as well as on the original LP, but again, so souch song. Does it exist, and if so why not let us hear it?
